penny far - them

i had four wheels, that had two spare

and they could take me anywhere

but 6 wheels are leaving on a ship

to make their long, north-homebound trip

i’ve borrowed two 

and with my feet, 

i get to work now on a seat.

i have no roof or window panes

me + wheels get wet in rains

can feel the wind, can feel the sun

can move as fast as you can run

no radio…

but i sense it couldn’t beat

the sound of the music of the street
